On arrival at Guwahati Airport or Railway Station, meet our representative and drive towards Shillong, the charming capital of Meghalaya (approx. 100 km / 3 hrs). On the way, stop at the beautiful Umiam Lake (Barapani), a vast reservoir surrounded by pine forests – perfect for photography. On reaching Shillong, check into your hotel and spend the evening exploring the vibrant Police Bazaar or simply relaxing. Overnight stay in Shillong.

After breakfast, set out for a full-day excursion to Cherrapunji (approx. 55 km / 2 hrs), one of the wettest places on earth. Visit the majestic Nohkalikai Falls, Seven Sisters Falls, and the beautiful Dainthlen Falls. Explore the fascinating Mawsmai Cave and enjoy the greenery at Eco Park and Thangkharang Park. After a day of exploring misty hills, waterfalls, and caves, return to Shillong in the evening. Overnight stay in Shillong.

This morning after breakfast, drive to Dawki (approx. 3 hrs), famous for the crystal-clear waters of the Umngot River. Enjoy a boat ride that feels like floating in the air. Later, visit the Indo-Bangladesh border point at Tamabil. Continue to Mawlynnong, known as the cleanest village in Asia, and take a short walk to see the Living Root Bridge – a natural wonder. In the evening, return to Shillong for overnight stay.

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive back to Guwahati (approx. 100 km / 3 hrs). Depending on your flight/train schedule, visit the sacred Kamakhya Temple, one of the most important Shakti Peeths in India. Later, transfer to Guwahati Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey with fond memories of Mystic Meghalaya.
